Grace Students Ministry

It’s true that we’re skewing our efforts heavily in the NextGen direction, and Grace Student Ministries is at the heart of those efforts. If we fail to pass on our faith to our middle- and high-school students, then we’ve failed as a church! Our goal is to see 98% of our students continue on in their faith after they’ve left home, and we have some good and fun work ahead of us to see that number of students stick with Jesus.

Student News & Events

There are no events at this time.

What happens at GSM?

Most Sunday evenings from 5-7 we start with dinner and games followed by a large group gathering with some fun practical teaching. Then students meet with their small group to talk about the message and build relationships with one another. It’s important for students to talk about the teaching and how to apply it in their everyday lives.

What do the students do on Sunday mornings?

On Sunday mornings, we encourage our students to serve one service, then all sit together in the other. We want them doing life together AND with the rest of the church body! Students that wish to serve in our kids ministry can fill out this FORM. If they’d like to serve in any other capacity, ex. Coffee ministry, worship team, Connection team, they can email our NextGen ministry leader at [email protected]

How can I stay in the know about upcoming dates and events?

The best way to keep up with what’s happening at Grace Student Ministries is to follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our clearstream text updates. We have a text thread for students and one to keep parents updated as well.

Subscribe to student text updates (for 6-12 grader only)→ Text “GSM” to (970) 514-6507

Subscribe to parent text updates →  Text “parent” to (970) 514-6507

How are students put into a small group? How are the groups organized?

Our current groups are broken down by grades and genders. We believe circles are better than rows, so we want students to experience a consistent group of their peers with leaders who care about them. Our current breakdown is middle school boys, middle school girls, high school boys and high school girls.

Does GSM do any other ministry events?

YES!! About once a month or so, the students do a special activity together – bowling, volleyball at the park, a yearly lock-in at Grace, nerf wars, lake days, ice skating, and color wars to mention a few! (WE HAVE PICS of many of these things!!!)

Grace Student Ministries wouldn’t be possible without our incredible team of leaders and volunteers…

…who invest their time, energy, and hearts into the next generation! Whether you love connecting with students, leading small groups, mentoring, preparing meals, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to make a difference!
