Grace Church has something for everyone! We welcome everyone from all walks of life into our community, and would love to meet you. We know that visiting a church for the first time can sometimes be an overwhelming experience, but having an idea of what to expect can certainly help. To learn more about what to expect at Grace Church, check out our Core Values and keep reading!
WHEN SHOULD I SHOW UP?
Our Sunday worship services are at 9:00 and 10:30 am, and this service features programs for infants and children all the way through 5th grade. Middle schoolers (6th-8th grade) meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. and high schoolers meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. for Grace Student Ministries. Learn more about Grace Students, click HERE.
So that you won’t feel rushed, we do recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the service so that you have time to drop off your kids at their programs and make your way into the main auditorium.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Our services are for you and we welcome the laid back Southwest Colorado lifestyle, so come dressed however you feel most comfortable. We’re thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. Dressed up or dressed down, we have a variety of styles at our services.
|JEANS OK!||T-SHIRT OK!||SANDALS OK!||SHORTS OK!||BATHING SUIT. PROBABLY NOT OK.|
HOW DO I GET THERE?
We are located at 1440 Florida Road across from Dominos Pizza.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
We are committed to a compelling and challenging presentation of God’s truth. Our format is accessible to anyone, no matter where they are on their life’s journey. This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts.
We have live, upbeat worship with a full band, as well as intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for some, that means singing, clapping, and raising their hands; for others, it means quietly reflecting on the words. At Grace Church, you’re welcome to do what comes from the heart in praise to God.
WHAT WILL THE MESSAGE BE LIKE?
Every week, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message based on Scripture that will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong Biblical foundation. Some messages will be taught verse-by-verse and others will be topical. We like to mix in a lot of Bible, some personal stories, life application, and humor. Watch a message HERE.
DO I HAVE TO GIVE AN OFFERING?
Each week, we encourage people to bring their tithes and offerings, but as a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. In fact, we don't even pass an offering plate or bucket. We have Offering Boxes in our lobby where people give their offerings. We don't do this because we want to make sure you're not made to feel uncomfortable and don't feel pressured to give. Giving and tithing is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for the work he is doing in their lives and gives Grace Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
DO YOU HAVE COMMUNION?
We celebrate communion together during designated Sunday services. We typically celebrate communion about once a month. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer as long as they’ve previously made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread we share represent the blood that Jesus shed and His body that was broken on the cross so our sins could be forgiven.
ARE THERE KIDS PROGRAMS AVAILABLE?
Grace Church offers interactive, age-appropriate groups for your kids to enjoy while you are attending services in the auditorium. In gKids, infants through 5th grade, we seek to build your child’s relationship with Jesus Christ and the Grace Church community! Learn more about our children's ministry HERE.
